The GOP strategy for another electoral theft in 2008 has taken clear shape, though we must assume there is much more we don't know.

But we must also assume that if it appears to Team Bush/Cheney/Rove that the GOP will lose the 2008 election anyway (as it lost in Ohio 2006), we cannot ignore the possibility that they would simply cancel the election. Those who think this crew will quietly walk away from power are simply not paying attention.

There are already 8 others serving time in federal prison and the only reason they are not all there is the others have not stepped on anyones toes yet. CORPORATE AMERICA: FREEDOM'S GREATEST THREAT

Most of us who believe in the free enterprise system have been taught that business interests normally work to the betterment of America's overall health, both commercially and politically. While there might have been a time when this was true, it is definitely not true today. Not only has Big Business become unfriendly to the principles of freedom, it has also become freedom's greatest threat.

To say that Corporate America is America's greatest threat is a harsh accusation, but one that I believe is warranted. I will even be so bold as to say that freedom has much more to fear from today's Chambers of Commerce than it does from Al Qaida.

The Threat Of Martial Law Is Real

The looming collapse of the US military in Iraq, of which a number of generals and former generals, including former Chief of Staff Colin Powell, have warned, is happening none too soon, as it my be the best hope for preventing military rule here at home.

From the looks of things, the Bush/Cheney regime has been working assiduously to pave the way for a declaration of military rule, such that at this point it really lacks only the pretext to trigger a suspension of Constitutional government. They have done this with the active support of Democrats in Congress, though most of the heavy lifting was done by the last, Republican-led Congress.

Note from Corruption Crusaders: While we agree fully with most of this article about how Bush and Cheney have set up the laws to allow martial law and about the probability of another terrorist event, manufactured or real, to instigate it, we do not agree that the military will fail to respond to orders from the President.

In the event of another 911 incident the military and police as well as the majority of the American people will have little choice but to look to their government for help. They all have been pre-conditioned to do this from birth.

Remember that over 50,000 troops died in Viet Nam and the US economy did not collapse and the military and police followed orders. This time the economy WILL COLLAPSE, the country will be in chaos and most people will either support the military and police or become victims of criminals or be sent off to a prison camp for treason and subversion. The worse the situation becomes, the more the people will seek help from elected officials, military and police.

The government already knows this and will not be afraid to announce martial law and a dictatorship in the name of national security and American interest.
